Revision & Feedback Policy

Last Updated: February 17, 2026

This Revision & Feedback Policy (“Policy”) governs the process, limitations, and conditions under which revisions, edits, corrections, and feedback are handled by DFW Pro Photographers (“DFW Pro Photographers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a business operated by Corporate Shutter LLC, doing business as DFW Pro Photographers.

This Policy supplements our Terms of Service and Client Data & Media Usage Policy and applies to all photography services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. Scope of Revisions

Revisions apply only to post-production editing adjustments to delivered proofs or draft images. Revisions do not include reshoots, additional coverage, new creative direction, or expanded deliverables unless expressly agreed in writing.

Unless otherwise specified in a signed agreement, standard photography projects include a limited number of reasonable post-production revisions per selected image. What constitutes “reasonable” shall be determined in good faith based on industry standards and project scope.

2. Definition of a Revision

A revision includes minor adjustments such as:

  • Color correction refinements

  • Exposure adjustments

  • Cropping modifications

  • Minor retouching refinements

  • Small tonal or stylistic adjustments

A revision does not include:

  • Complete re-editing in a new style

  • Significant compositing or digital manipulation

  • Extensive retouching beyond initial scope

  • Addition or removal of major elements

  • Redesign of creative direction

Requests exceeding the original scope may incur additional fees.

3. Feedback Submission Requirements

To ensure efficiency and accuracy, all feedback must:

  • Be submitted in writing (email or approved project management platform)

  • Be consolidated into a single organized communication whenever possible

  • Reference specific image filenames or identifiers

  • Be submitted within the designated feedback window

Fragmented, conflicting, or delayed feedback may result in extended timelines and additional administrative charges.

4. Feedback Window

Unless otherwise specified in writing, clients must submit revision requests within fourteen (14) calendar days of proof delivery.

Failure to provide feedback within this period may be deemed acceptance of the deliverables as presented.

Requests submitted after the feedback window may be treated as new work and billed accordingly.

5. Approval and Finalization

Once final images are approved or downloaded as final deliverables, the project is considered complete.

Additional changes requested after final approval may be subject to additional editing fees and adjusted timelines.

Client approval constitutes acknowledgment that deliverables meet agreed specifications.

6. Reshoots and Creative Direction Changes

Reshoots are not included unless expressly stated in a written agreement.

Requests for reshoots due to:

  • Changes in client preference

  • Change in marketing strategy

  • Newly identified creative direction

  • Personnel changes

  • Event circumstances outside our control

shall be treated as new bookings and subject to availability and additional fees.

7. Timeline Adjustments

Revision timelines may vary based on:

  • Project complexity

  • Volume of requested changes

  • Client responsiveness

  • Seasonal workload

DFW Pro Photographers makes commercially reasonable efforts to complete revisions promptly but does not guarantee specific turnaround times unless contractually stated.

8. Excessive or Repeated Revision Requests

We reserve the right to limit, refuse, or bill separately for excessive, repetitive, or materially expanded revision requests.

If requested changes fundamentally alter the original scope, creative direction, or production effort, a revised estimate will be issued for approval before additional work proceeds.

9. Subjective Preferences

Photography and post-production are creative services. While we strive to accommodate reasonable preferences, aesthetic dissatisfaction alone does not constitute a failure to perform.

Deliverables consistent with the agreed scope and professional standards shall be deemed acceptable performance.

10. No Obligation Beyond Agreement

DFW Pro Photographers is not obligated to provide revisions, edits, or additional services beyond those defined in the written agreement.

Any additional work must be approved in writing and may require additional compensation.

11. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law.
